Cuisine Festival of Central province’s food to be held in Hue City
Information from Hue City reports that Cuisine Festival in central region is projected to be organized at Hue Sports Centre from June 28 to July 1 in response to the National Tourism Year of the North - Central - Hue 2012.
Information from Hue City reports that Cuisine Festival in central region is projected to be organized at Hue Sports Centre from June 28 to July 1 in response to the National Tourism Year of the North - Central - Hue 2012. This is a joint event among many fundamental tourist organizations in Hue City as well as Vietnam, including Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Viet Nam Hotel Association and the Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Attending in the event are 50 booths of numerous cities and provinces in the central region, as well as other regions all over Vietnam such as the Northwest, Mekong Delta or Central Highland. These booths are set up to display special dishes typical to different provinces, as well as progress and secret recipes.
Central provinces in Vietnam possess a diverse cuisine culture with thousands of tasty and flavored dishes. With coastal characteristics, the region is well-known for fresh seafood, fish sauces and seafood alcohol.
The National Tourism Year 2012 concentrates on mostly tourism industry in North Central Coastal provinces, particularly Hue City and other nearby cities.
Hue promotes tourism via an attractive logo design contest
The Provincial Department of Tourism in Thua Thien Hue has recently launched the logo design contest called “Hue – Culinary Capital” to introduce and promote Hue’s gastronomy more attractively and effectively.
