UK Film Festival in 5 cities of Vietnam

According to an announcement from British Council Vietnam, the British Council’s UK Film Festival named “London Calling” is expected to take place in five cities of Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hai Phong and Danang City from August 29 to September 11, 2012.

According to an announcement from British Council Vietnam, the British Council’s UK Film Festival named “London Calling” is expected to take place in five cities of Vietnam, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hai Phong and Danang City from August 29 to September 11, 2012.

Presented during the festival are film masterpieces of the UK cinema industry during the period 1960’s - 2010. Those movies feature different aspects of UK’s society, particularly people in London, from the past to the present, which promises to bring about the vivid life of one of the most desired cities in the world.

Beside the outstanding content, these movies are also winners of many international reputable prizes in filmography such as Oscar, Golden Globe Award, British Independent Film Awards or BAFTA Film Awards.
