Being officially established in 1994 on the base of University of Hue from previous governance, Hue University has been meliorated and become the largest university in Middle and Tay Nguyen area of Vietnam. The main function of this school is not only training and providing well-educated labor to Vietnam’s society, but also researching science and technology, as well as strategy to develop numerous aspects in the society. This is also a crucial cultural and societal center where people from various areas in Vietnam and other countries can meet each other and exchange traditional elite typically to their territories.
Hue University is currently offering programs in various industries which are divided into 90 undergraduate courses, 61 master courses and 22 doctorial courses. Participating in teaching in this university is 1,700 lecturers with 100 professors and vice-professors, 300 doctors, 640 masters and 520 senior lecturers. In addition, it is estimated that there are about more than 60,000 students studying in this university with 3,000- 4,000 graduates per annul.
