Vietnam National University (Hanoi) is regarded as the largest university in the North of Vietnam which has played a crucial role in undergraduate education as well as science researches in Vietnam for a hundred years of its history. The school has been officially re-established and named “Vietnam National University (Hanoi)” in 1993 from the former name University of Indochina (“Universite Indochinoise” in French) opened by French colonial in 1906.
Being the top national university in the North, Vietnam National University (Hanoi) consists of numerous colleges concentrating in various aspects of the society from economy or technology to science, education and foreign languages. This place is also an important research center of science and social aspects which gathers a huge numbers of famous scientists, doctors and professors in different fields in Vietnam.
