From 2006, passport renewal will be replaced by new passport application. Vietnamese citizens residing, working or studying in the UK can apply for a new passport in person or my mail.

Required documents
- Two passport application form
- One biography form
- Four passport sized photos
- Old passport, which will then be cancelled and returned to applicants.
- Any valid visa page in the old passport is still usable and will not be transferred to the new passport. If you lose your old passport, you must also provide a police record.

Processing Time: 15 working days with normal case and 30 working days with passport loss.
