The purpose of this year’s event is to strengthen the relationship between Da Nang, Quang Province and Hue, as well as promoting local tourism products and the image of Da Nang City as a city of event and the tourism hub of the central Vietnam.
Da Nang Summer Rendezvous is bringing to local civilization and tourists a chain of musical performances, competitions and sea sport shows.
According to Mr. Guillaume van Grinsven, a senior expert from the Netherlands’ PUM organization, the city should boost advertising activities on foreign market to expand the image of Da Nang to international friends. He added although the city has many distinctive advantages to develop maritime tourism with My Khe Beach being voted as one of the six most attractive beaches of the world by American magazine Forbes in 2005, the city is still lack of maritime tourism products.
Besides, event like Summer Rendezvous should be introduced with importance to make it another international festival like the Da Nang International Fireworks Competitions and the Da Nang International Paramotor Race.
Routes Asia 2022 To Be Hosted By Da Nang
On October 11, the World Routes in Italy announced that the 16th Asian route development forum will be organized in Da Nang city on 6-8 June 2022 with the host of Da Nang People’s Committee, Department of Tourism, and IPP Travel Retail.
