In an effort to bring the American fast food closer to the locals, from October 7th, 2011, KFC launches “Lime Chilli”- the whole new flavor, which is exclusively served in Vietnam.
In an effort to bring the American fast food closer to the locals, from October 7th, 2011, KFC launches “Lime Chilli”- the whole new flavor, which is exclusively served in Vietnam.
Besides, KFC offers customers a chance to join the “Lime Chilli Promotion”. For every combo of Lime Chilli which costs VND 75,000, customers receive a coupon to win many amazing prizes including iPad 2, voucher for 1 year free KFC, Lime Chilli Combo and Lime Chilli pieces. The promotion lasts from nowto 30 November in all KFC restaurants in Vietnam. However, KFC VIP card and other promotions are not applicable.
For a long time, lime leaf (or Kefir Leaf) has been regarded as the most important spice used for cooking chicken in Vietnamese cuisine. With this new flavor, KFC expects to attract the customers’ senses with the crispy cover, hot chili and authentic taste of lime leaf-which creates the harmonious combination between Western chicken and Vietnamese spice.
