New Tourist Information Kiosk at Vietnam - Laos border

With the goal to promote tourism in 2011, in the morning of June 18, Thanh Hoa Exhibition and Tourism Promotion Center cooperated with Na Meo Border Guard Station to open a new tourist information kiosk in Thanh Hoa at Na Meo international border gate.  

This new tourist information kiosk in Thanh Hoa at Na Meo international border gate plays an important part in promoting tourism in Vietnam to visitors from Laos and other countries in South East Asia, Europe, etc. It also serves to introduce about the history, culture and origin of Thanh Hoa people and further promoting tourism activities which focus on propagation and advertising of the beauty and scenery of Thanh Hoa – a famous tourist destination.

The kiosk uses the method of propagation in multiple forms from pictures, videos to publications such as books, newspapers, posters and leaflets in both English and Vietnamese handing to tourists during the entry procedure. It will also actively raise supports from international tourists for proposing UNESCO to officially recognize Thanh Nha Ho (Ho Castle) as a world heritage.
