Parkson Vietnam, in collaboration with Vina Capital, is planning on opening a Parkson mall at the site of Danang World Trade Center. If open, this will be the first of Parkson's presence in Central Vietnam.
The mall covers 20,000 sq.m. on the fourth floor of WTC Danang. If things go according to the plan, the mall will be up and running by mid-2013. Danang World Trade Center spreads over a total area of 9 hectare, on the east side of Han River and in the middle of the most dynamic tourist and business centre of this coastal city. Under this agreement, Parkson will be adjoining the luxury apartment Azura, giving Azurans and those based in Danang more opportunities to go shopping.
Standing in between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Danang has built its reputation as one of the most beautiful resort cities in the world and attracts millions of visit every year. Parkson, meanwhile, is a popular Malaysian department store. In Vietnam, this conglomerate has established 5 grand malls in Ho Chi Minh City, one in Hanoi and one in Haiphong. The main products include branded clothing and apparels, as well as jewelry and some household wares.
