Rakugo Master to sit down entertaining Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam has officially announced its plan to welcome Master Katsura Utazo and his sit-down comedy show in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on October 24 and 27 respectively.

The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam has officially announced its plan to welcome Master Katsura Utazo and his sit-down comedy show in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on  October 24 and 27 respectively. The show is organized at VOV Theater (58 Quan Su) in Hanoi and The Student House of Culture (643 Dien Bien Phu) in Ho Chi Minh City

The famous Katsura Utazo is bringing with him Rakugo, or Japanese sit-down comedy art, which is supposed to impressively feature Japanese culture.

Rakugo, or generally known as Japanese sit-down comedy, is a traditional art of Japan. Like stand-up comedy in Western countries, Rakugo comedian stays sitting down and uses props such as sensu paper-fan. 

Katsura Utazo, the best sit-down comedian in Japan, born in 1964, has performed in various big national and international shows in Japan, Thailand, Brazil and the U.S. He is also a multi-talented artist, who joined in broadcasting industry as a MC and a broadcaster.
