VASCO launching a new Can Tho – Con Dao route

Vietnam Airline Service Company (VASCO) has officially launched a new flight route linking Can Tho and Con Dao (in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province) in June 1st, 2011. This new flight belongs to the expanding domestic route network plan with the goal to connect regions of Vietnam.

Under the plan, VASCO will provide route with a frequency of four flights a week in Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and the new generation ATR72-500 aircraft. The time estimated for each flight is 40 minutes. VASCO will apply the promotional fare of 600,000 VND/ trip. Passengers can buy tickets at VASCO official agents and Vietnam Airlines ticket offices all over the country.

Can Tho is a developing, dynamic city which has long been indentified as the economic center of the Mekong Delta region. This launching of the new flight route will continue to promote the role of Can Tho as the main connection to other areas of the region. It is also of great significance in the development of economics and social aspect of local region in particular and of nation in general.
