Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Music Festival

The Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism has just met with its counterparts in Cambodia and Laos and announced to organize a music festival in three countries including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Accordingly, the Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism assign the Department of Performing Art to cooperate with the Department of Cultural, Sport and Tourism, International Cooperation Department and Vietnamese Musician Association to organize the Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia Music Festival in July, 2011 in Quang Tri.

The Department of Performing Art will be responsible for a part of the funding and also for the content of the program including assigning units to practice and perform for locals of Quang Tri. The upcoming festival will be a precious opportunity for arts troupes coming from three countries to interact and communicate as well as learn from each other, therefore develop the friendly relations of three countries in the area. The exact dates are yet to be announced yet if you stop by the province on the route between Hanoi and Hue, do not miss your chance!
