Women and Manga Exhibition in Hanoi this March
This March, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam is hosting a multiple event on manga works, focusing on Shojo Manga, a manga genre dedicated to female, which was only created and enjoyed by male previously.
This March, the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam is hosting multiple events on manga works, focusing on Shojo Manga, a manga genre dedicated to female audience.
The event, which features an exhibition of manga works (free admission), a workshop by manga artists (for invitees only), and an international conference by experts on comics from different countries, promises to give visitors an insight into this kind of comics.

The event entitled “Women & Manga: Connecting with cultures beyond Japan” will be held at The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, 27 Quang Trung Street, Hanoi, for three weeks since the late March.
Exhibition: March 21th – April 15th, 2012 (Opening hour: 9.30am – 6.00pm)
Workshop: March 24th- 25th, 2012 (10.00am – 11.30am)
International Conference: March 23rd- 25th, 2012 (1.00pm – 4.30pm)
