Cat Linh street

Few people would know Cát Linh unless they really venture out to the city or they stay at Horison Hotel. The street is in fact an authentic miniature of local Hanoi lives. Cát Linh cuts with Giảng Võ on one end and Tôn Đức Thắng on the other. The street is popular for its bathroom and tile products. There are plenty of showrooms and stores that sell anything you need for your bathroom- from the luxurious bath tub to the handle of the water tap.

At night, the street becomes a gathering place for the young people who like tea. There are over ten of street vendors selling “trà bát bảo” – one type of herbal tea which is naturally sweetened. This tea is enjoyed with some seasonal fruits and people sit either on a stool or on a mattress. A good way to experience Hanoi life!
