Archaeologists have found a 1,000 years old relic - a tower of Champa civilization with 4 corners, 1 main door and 3 sub-doors, in Phong Le Village, Danang, after over a month of excavation.

According to Mr. Vo Van Thang, director of Cham Sculpture Museum in Danang City, the archaeologists are still continuing to work on the area of about 500m2 with hope to learn more about the tower, as well as to find more relics and artifacts of Champa culture in the area. He further reveals that a plan to preserve relics and artifacts found in this excavating point is prepared to be submitted to Da Nang tourism administration.
Champa is one of the most charming cultures of Vietnam. Allured relics of its ancient culture are found in various locations around the Central of Vietnam, but this is a very rare time that a Champa relic found near Da Nang City.
