A stunning bird’s eye view of HCMC at Saigon Sky Deck observatory
From July, 2011, the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City, Bitexco Financial Tower, has officially opened Saigon Sky Deck Observatory on the 49th floor to welcome tourists to contemplate a 360-degree view of the vibrant city from a height of 178 meters above the ground level. The glassy observatory with the arc-shaped design and newly provided useful service promises to bring visitors the most pleasant moments.
About 8 large sized telescopes are installed to give visitors a close-up of the city, including both the fast pace of life and the increasingly growing city. Interactive touch screens are accessible to provide an overview of the city in terms of history, culture and architecture through the display of colorful pictures and user-friendly information systems.
The observatory is open daily, from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm.
Entrance fees is VND 200.000 (~US$10) for adult and VND 130.000 (~US$6.5) for children under 16 years old.
