The talented Senegalese singer Naby is bringing hot flavor of African music to Hanoi with a special reggae night at Hanoi Youth Theatre (11 Ngo Thi Nham), April 12th, 2012.
Not purely featuring the Jamaican style music, the show boasts a mix of reggae with other music genres like hip-hop, raga, soul, funk and blues. In this musical night, Naby’s vocal is accompanied by guitarist Eric Muller, saxophonist Mathieu Bost, drummer Thomas Join Lambert, bassist Daniel Moustin and Jimmy Zaccardelliat the keyboard.
Naby has performed in Africa and some French speaking countries such as France and Canada since 2009, and released his first solo album titled “Dem Naa” in 2010. The young Senegalese artist follows a unique style which is the combination of African melodies and other sounds of reggae, funk and hip-hop.
