This great achievement is supposed to be the result of every effort of the province to make its tourism options become more diverse with new discovery, yet safety and friendliness tourism, along with tradition ones.
With the aim to establish and promote the new appearance of a modern style province, Ba Ria – Vung Tau has recently made dramatic changes, from a purely relaxing destination with beaches and a few tourist sites to a area with numerous luxury hotels and resorts such as Imperial, Palace, Grand Petro, Anoasis, Saigon-Binh Chau-Ho Coc Ho Tram Beach Resort & Spa and Sex Senses Con Dao.
The province also actively hold major festivals of the country like Sea Festival 2006, World Cuisine Festival 2010 or Ba Ria – Vung Tau Cuisine Festival 2009 and 2011 to build up the image of a festive province.
Planning for the 2010-2015 period, Ba Ria – Vung Tau continues to be the vanguard of the national tourism by investing in maritime tourism. The local investors are seizing this golden opportunity to build developed seaport and logistics system to be ready to offer higher class tourism service and welcome more international visitors.
