New Cham art shows were initiated at Po Sah Inu in Phan Thiet town (Binh Thuan province) by the management board of the relics.
The show is organized weekly on every Saturday and Sunday with main content concentrating on traditional arts of Cham communities, including diverse genres such as dancing, singing and folk-tale telling. The performances are presented by professional artists, who are Cham people.
Administration of Po Sah Inu believes that this is an appropriate way to introduce Cham culture to travelers, as well as to attract more customers to visit the site and Phan Thiet town.
Cham is an ethnic community in the Central and the South of Vietnam with population of only about 100,000. The race possesses a diverse culture developing for thousand year of its history. Cham Tower and Cham traditional dancing are now among the most precious culture features of Vietnam.
