Hanoi and Hoi An wins “Popular Destinations in the world” by TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Awards 2021

On January 27, the world's largest travel platform TripAdvisor announced the results of TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice Award 2021 based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers around the world. With many categories such as Top25 Experiences, Top25 Beaches, or Top25 Trending Destinations, proudly, the two representatives from Vietnam, Hanoi and Hoi An, won Top25 Popular Destinations in the world with 6th and 11th position respectively. In detail, Vietnam's capital, Hanoi, occupied the 6th place thanks to its ancient beauty of the Old Quarter, colonial monuments and architectures parallel with the dynamic beauty of a modern and non-stop city.

TripAdvisor said it's easy to explore the city's irresistible charms of lakes, parks, shady boulevards and more than 600 temples and pagodas by taxi.

Meanwhile, Hoi An - a well-preserved example of the important Southeast Asian trading port from the 15th-19th century - excelled at No.11. Hoi An was described by TripAdvisor as a popular stop for backpackers and becoming increasingly popular with foreign visitors with attractions such as Japanese Covered Bridge or Quan Cong Dynasties. This is also an ideal place to get a bespoke clothing made by expert tailors.
