International Yacht Festival in Khanh Hoa delayed to 2013
Information from Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism reveals that The International Yatch Festival 2012 is rescheduled to take place in Khanh Hoa in mid-2013, instead of late 2012 as planned.
Information from Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism reveals that The International Yacht Festival 2012 is rescheduled to take place in Khanh Hoa in mid-2013, instead of late 2012 as planned. This is the first time an international yacht festival of this scale has ever been held in Vietnam.
The event is held for not only creating an occasion for spectacular yacht all over the world to show their attractiveness, but also introducing the beauty of Vietnam’ ocean, and boosting tourism industry of the region.
Participating in this festival are around 250 Vietnamese and international yachts which will be displayed at an exhibiting parade around Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang Bay. During 4 days of the event, those ships will join in various exhibitions, as well as activities to show their beauty.
Beside exhibitions, other activities will also be organized, such as a concert about Truong Sa Islands or a fund raising event to support fishermen.
