Phan Thiet plans to become a national marine sports destination by 2025
In order to attract both domestic and international tourists, Phan Thiet city in Binh Thuan province in the South of Vietnam is considering a plan to promote local tourism to a national one specializing in marine sports by 2025.
Accordingly, plenty of watersports will be exploited in Hon Rom – Mui Ne and Ham Tien tourist areas including paragliding, kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, or sand-skiing.

In addition, Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh beach resort is another selected place to organize beach activities, namely beach volleyball, football, handball, cycling, or cross-country running.
Located on the Southeast coast in Vietnam, Phan Thiet has windy and sunny yet less stormy weather all year round. Thanks to that, the administration of the city is working with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to establish interesting and unique sea sports products to meet the diverse needs of travelers.
Phan Thiet intends to organize international sport tournaments frequently with activities like kitesurfing, yachting, or hot air balloon festival.
