Planning resumption Vietnam – Singapore flights
On Monday, June 21, the Foreign Minister of Vietnam and Singapore – Mr. Bui Thanh Son and Mr. Vivian Balakrishnan, decided to accelerate the vaccine certificates of each other in order to reinstate the commercial flights and recover the economy. According to the meeting, they will establish a group that is in charge of verifying the mutual vaccine certification to speed up the process.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Vietnam has stopped all international flights since March 2020. Some visitor groups allowed to enter Vietnam must comply with the quarantine order in 14 days which recently has increased to 21 days as the new outbreaks are more complicated and dangerous. As for Vietnamese entering Singapore, besides a quarantine requirement in 21 days, a reaction test of polymerase chain is compulsory for all travelers upon arrival.
Currently, around 12,000 Vietnamese people are living in Singapore, and Vietnam Market is increasingly receiving much attention from Singaporean investors. Thus, the resumption of Vietnam – Singapore flights is indeed a win-win plan that should be well taken care of.
