Quang Nam Province has implemented a new plan to establish an attraction on the system of historical tunnels in Anong Commune, Tay Giang District, which was previously an underground stronghold of Vietnam revolutionary army during the wartime.

The plan includes various stages to change the places into tourism attractions, consisting of creating a center to display artifacts of the tunnel and Ho Chi Minh Road, strengthening the inner structure of the tunnels and improving the light system inside.
Tourism administration in Quang Nam expects after the plan is completely executed, the tunnels can become an attractive destination, where visitors may learn about epic history of the place, as well as understand more about Vietnamese during wartime.
The tunnels under land of Anong Commune is one of key fort of Vietnam Revolutionary army during wartime, served multi functions such as being a camp, medical station, armory warehouse and headquarter.
