The restaurant is professionally decorated in colonial style but still remaining the harmony of traditional architecture. This three-storey building, open and modern with slate and dark woods with an exposed kitchen in the middle of the main eating space allows diners to watch food preparation and chefs at work.
Menu of the restaurant comprises of best taste Vietnamese foods, among them, must-try dishes are deep-fried Imperial-style spring rolls, grilled chicken in lemon leaves, sautéed prawns in tamarind sauce and caramelized mango flambé with liqueur for dessert. Besides, the L’Oriental has a bar with 10,000 bottles of wine of different types which is one of the largest wine bars in the South East Asia.
Due to the upscale quality, prices to be gods in this heaven are not cheap, vary between US$45 - $65 for a full set of both main dishes and drink.
