Description

Located on Hang Trong Street, Dakshin has long been a favorite venue of vegetarians in Hanoi.

Although the restaurant’s outlook is kind of old and shabby, its interior is a truly Indian space with bamboo tables and chairs decorated with ornaments and pictures of the country. The maximum capacity of the food shop is up to 120 people offering customer wide and cool spaces.

Vegetarian food is the specialty of the restaurant; however, unlike other vegetarian restaurants in Hanoi, Dakshin’s cuisine is of different and special taste since the foods are cooked with Indian style: Bhindi Masala; Paneer Butter Masala; Channa Masala or Bagare Baigam. Others delicious dishes of Dakshin are: Chilli Paneer; Dakshin Meat Platter; Rasam; Poori; Chettinad Chicken.

Price for one person per meal starts from only US$4.

Direction

Take Hang Trong St first. After passing accross the intersection of Hang Trong and Bao Khanh St, keep moving for a few metres and you will see the restaurant on your left hand side, close to Lake View hotel.
