Hoa Lo Prison
Famously dubbed as the Hanoi Hilton, the all too famous prison in the middle of Hanoi is now only a shadow of its past.
In the process of rebuilding the country after the devastating wars, the local government has torn down most of the old facility to make room for development. A part of Hoa Lo prison (Maison Centrale) in 1993 was turned into the relic that visitors can visit today.Though not particularly an exciting destination, for the history buffs, the Hanoi Hilton may still have something to offer.
