Nghinh Phong Cape
This cape is a locals' favourite getaway at weekends. It is the south pole of Vung Tau, situated at No.1 Ha Long street, right in between Vong Nguyet beach and Dua beach. Mui Nghinh Phong is 950m away from Vung Tau’s Front beach so riding a scooter is ideal.

Mui Nghinh Phong literally means "the cape embracing breezes" while the name Cong Troi, on the other side, means "a gate of the sky". From the names one can tell that sea breeze is the signature trait of the cape. It offers a great view of the sky, the sea, Hon Ba island and the Christ statue. There is a long wall painted in a colorful and chaotic style that makes a great background for photo shooting. In addition to Linh Quy Phap An in Da Lat, Anh Giang in Cao Bang, O Quy Ho in Sapa and Quan Ba in Ha Giang, Mui Nghinh Phong completes the top 5 legendary gates of the sky in Vietnam.

Tourists should avoid weekends as it is less crowded here on business days which makes it easier for photo shooting. It is also advisable to bring a good camera, selfie stick and a jacket to keep you warm on windy days. Ripped jeans or bohemian white dresses will complete your pictures with unique touches while high heels may not be very practical.
Mui Nghinh Phong and Cong Troi are ideal hideaways for tourists who love romantic views and evocative photographs, especially couples who want to have special wedding pictures.
