Best beaches in January
While January is a winter month in the North, it is a perfect time to visit the Southern part of Vietnam. Therefore, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Vung Tau are perfect if you plan a beach holiday. The weather is generally dry with temperature averaging 28-32°C in these destinations. On the contrary, in places such as Halong Bay, Cat Ba or Sam Son, the weather is wet and cold, making swimming not as enjoyable as it should, and even impossible for visitors from tropical country. Temperature hovers between 10 and 18°C.
