Hoi An Discovery Marathon 2021 to be held in May
Hoi An Discovery Marathon 2021 is going to take place in Quang Nam province on 1 May 2021. The exposition day consisting of race kit pick-up and briefing will occur at Hoai River Square the day before (30 April).
The special race attracts a lot of racers thanks to its unique route that offers not only the antique beauty of the architectural houses in the old town but also the authentic view of the idyllic villages on the sides of Thu Bon River.

April and May are the ideal time in Hoi An with dry, cool, sunny and very pleasant weather.
Four distances in the race are 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km which last for 7 hours, 6 hours, 5 hours and 4 hours, and 45 minutes respectively. All distances will start from Bach Dang point near Hoi An Market and finish at Nguyen Phuc Chu Street near An Hoi Sculpture Garden in the town. The longest distance will start earlier at 4 am and the shortest one will start later at 6:15 am on that day.
According to the race organizer, all people over 15 years old having qualified health conditions can participate in the race and those under 15 need the approval of the legal representatives.
